Peter Xifaras is the creative force behind the symphoneX Orchestra®. As a composer, guitarist, and producer, Peter is an award winning recipient of the AMERICAN Prize, TELLY, and Accolade Film Humanitarian award for compositions championing social change. He has also received Gold and First Prize in the Bach, Berlioz, Beethoven, Bizet, Couperin, Debussy, Rameau, Reinecke, Satie, Saint-Saëns , Schubert , Vivaldi , European Classical, World Classical and UK International music competitions for his orchestral projects ‘CHILDREN OF CONFLICT’ and ‘DYSTOPIAN WORLD’, both recorded with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. Peter's THIRD STREAM Jazz recording, ‘ADAGIO GROOVES’ , was awarded First Prize in the Mozart International Music Competition and was performed with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra.
Peter has also received several nominations from Hollywood Music in Media and Hollywood Independent Music awards and is a GRAMMY® voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Peter's music has been programmed on hundreds of radio stations including SiriusXM and has crowned the summits of BILLBOARD'S Classical and Crossover charts.
